This gene encodes a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. These growth factors are mitogens for cells of mesenchymal origin. The identity of the growth factor bound to a receptor monomer determines whether the functional receptor is a homodimer or a heterodimer, composed of both platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha and beta polypeptides. Studies suggest that this gene plays a role in organ development, wound healing, and tumor progression. Mutations in this gene have been associated with idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome, somatic and familial gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and a variety of other cancers.Immunogen information

Flow cytometry:1X10^6 HeLa cells (negative control, left) and U-138MG cells (right) were surface-stained with ABflo® 594 Rabbit anti-Human/Mouse PDGFRα/CD140a mAb(A24332, 5 μl/Test, orange line) or ABflo® 594 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A23821, 5 μl/Test, blue line). Non-fluorescently stained cells were used as blank control (red line).
Flow cytometry:1X10^6 U-138MG cells were surface-stained with ABflo® 594 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A23821, 5 μl/Test, left) or ABflo® 594 Rabbit anti-Human/Mouse PDGFRα/CD140a mAb(A24332, 5 μl/Test, right).
Flow cytometry:1X10^6 NIH/3T3 cells were surface-stained with ABflo® 594 Rabbit anti-Human/Mouse PDGFRα/CD140a mAb(A24332, 5 μl/Test, orange line) or ABflo® 594 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A23821, 5 μl/Test, blue line). Non-fluorescently stained NIH/3T3 cells were used as blank control (red line).
