Product introduction

Eagle's Minimum Essential Medium (ie MEM) is a synthetic medium containing inorganic salts, essential amino acids, vitamins and other essential components for cell growth. MEM can also be supplemented with non-essential amino acids to stimulate cell growth, prolong cell motility, and reduce the biosynthetic burden of cells.

NEAA is Non-Essential Amino Acid. This product is a 100X concentrate of the desired non-essential amino acid mixture in MEM medium. These non-essential amino acids include L-alanine, L-aspartic acid, L-asparagine, glycine, L-serine, L-proline and L-glutamic acid. The concentration of each amino acid in this product is 10 mM, and it is diluted by 100 when used, that is, 1 mL is added to every 100 mL of medium, or the concentration is added according to actual needs.

Transported in wet ice, stored at 4°C, valid for 12 months.

Precautions

1. This product has been sterilized by 0.1 μm filtration. When using, attention should be paid to aseptic operation to avoid contamination.

2. The solution of this product is acidic, pay attention to the pH value of the medium after adding, and fine-tune the pH value of the medium according to the experimental needs.
